AUTHOR BIO

Award-Winning Author Lisa Riebe writes science fiction for young readers. The first book in her Pond Punkies' series, The Arrival, was released in 2009. The second book in the series, The Unearthing, is scheduled for release November, 1, 2011. The Departure, the third book in the series, will be released January, 2012.

Lisa grew up in Romeoville, Illinois. As a child, she spent many hours reading, mostly The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries. She enjoyed writing science fiction in high school English classes and became a huge Star Trek fan. She lives in Illinois with her husband, Greg, and their son, Justin.
